Dental Legacy Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing dental care and oral hygiene education in underserved communities around the world. With the generous support of partners and donors like you, we are able to fulfill this mission.

Currently, we are focused on our missions in Tanzania, where there is an alarming shortage of dental care. In rural regions of Tanzania, there is an average of 400,000 people per one dentist, while in the USA, the ratio is roughly 1,650-to-1. This vast disparity leads to Tanzanians enduring tooth pain for up to two years before accessing dental treatment, and a staggering 76% of children aged 12 and under have never seen a dentist in a country with a population of 59.7 million.

Through our efforts and your support, Dental Legacy Foundation aims to address these disheartening statistics by improving access to care and training more highly-skilled dental professionals within the country. Together, we can make a significant difference in the oral health and well-being of underserved communities.

At Dental Legacy Foundation, we are passionate about improving oral health and providing dental care to underserved communities. Since our establishment in 2021, we have been dedicated to making a positive impact through our dental humanitarian efforts.

Our mission is to give access to quality dental care to individuals who lack the resources and opportunities to receive dental care. We believe that everyone deserves a healthy smile, and we are committed to creating lasting improvements in the communities we serve.

Last year, during our inaugural trip to Tanzania, we preformed 674 procedures and saw over 300 patients in 8 days. This year was performed over 1000 procedures, instructed over 2000 people on oral hygiene and gave them oral hygiene kits, and saw over 500 patients. Our focus on preventive care has resulted in improved oral health outcomes and improved quality of life. We are proud of the transformations we have witnessed and the smiles we have restored. We can't wait to help more communities around the world!
